Building Trust in the Digital Age — verifiable systems for ownership, compliance, and the intelligent future.
DACS began at the intersection of experience and opportunity. Matt and Peter first worked together on what would become the AUDD stablecoin, helping to pioneer early efforts to make digital value stable, transparent, and usable in the real economy. Around the same time, Peter was working with Coinloft on their over-the-counter (OTC) operations — a venture that later became part of © 2024 Independent Reserve Pty. Ltd.
From those foundations, Peter founded DACS as an OTC and custody advisory for high-net-worth individuals, SMSFs, and businesses entering the world of digital assets. Then came the turning point: SMSFs started calling — not to buy or sell, but to report. They needed verified documentation of their crypto holdings for compliance and auditing.
That challenge became our opportunity. We had to solve how to attest to crypto holdings for anyone — even those using hardware wallets. From that problem, Attestation was born: a system for verifiable reporting that brings trust and transparency to self-custodied assets.
Attestation emerged from SMSF reporting needs — turning a service into a repeatable system for verifiable truth.
At first, we were simply trying to give our clients what they wanted — verification of their holdings. But as we built those systems, we quickly discovered that verification alone wasn't enough. Clients needed trust. Auditors needed attestations. Regulators needed compliance.
In solving one problem, we uncovered the foundation of a much larger one: the need for verifiable truth in digital ownership. What started as a service became an infrastructure — a new layer of trust for the digital economy.
We made complex systems — from blockchain to verification — understandable, auditable, and actionable.
Our tools and frameworks help clients move from curiosity to capability.
